The Wedding of Karen and Travis.
One of the best parts about our job is seeing our bridal party creations come to life. One of our amazing brides, Karen, got married this past September and everything about it was truly magical. With a rustic touch and southern feel, Karen's wedding was perfect from the decor to the bridesmaid dresses.
Starting at the groom's uncle's home in Stamford, New York, which used to be an Inn, approximately 150 years old, the bride and her bridesmaids began to get ready.
The ceremony was held in a field behind the house at the top of a hill. The wedding archway was built by Karen and Travis, themselves, out of 100+ year old barn beams. The hay bales, wedding lanterns (which were Karen's sisters), the antique doors, and tractor were all the bride and grooms!

Karen's bridesmaids were styled in Hayley Paige Occasions.
Because she wanted a unique, one of a kind look, she chose 4 different styles and colors.
The bridesmaids hair and makeup was done by Stiletto Salon in Albany, New York, with the exception of the bride's hair, which was done by her sister and Maid of honor, Kelly of Salon M in Totowa, New Jersey.
Kelly, Karen's maid of honor, was in Hayley Paige style 5623 in blush.
The other three bridesmaids, were styled in Hayley Paige styles 5550 in rose, 5616 in gunmetal, and 5615 in silver.
And how could we forget about the handsome groom and his groomsmen!
The groomsmen got ready at their family farmhouse in Harpersfield, New York where the reception was also held under a large, high top tent.
With the help of their incredible wedding planner, Karen Laing of Karen's Table and Chair Rentals in Bloomville, New York, Karen and Travis created the wedding of their dreams.
Catering was done by Jackie Lamport of Jackie's Homestyle Catering in Hobart, New York. Jackie brought a new meaning to "homestyle" by hand picking her own sweet corn from her field to make the corn casserole.
The beauty and perfection was captured by Photographer Rachelle of Thompson Photography Group.
